    Great videos!!
I recently decided to try out a baitcasting reel much to my friends dismay. They all told me “those things are hard to work, your gonna have nothing but problems when you try casting those things” and “you will never cast as far as a spinning reel” but I proved them wrong. It took me about an hour of playing with it on the front porch with a jig on it (I cut the hook off) casting and retrieving and setting my magnetic and centrifigul brakes just right. After my first two outings with the new baitcaster i’m a convert. The best way to describe it is like driving a 2009 cadillac after driving a 1982 honda civic. I now have four baitcasters and can now cast as far as my friends spinning rods. I’m more accurate and much quicker and I usually land more fish too! Great site!

Thanks for writing in & good luck on the water.

Hi guys….First awesome videos. Like the first poster, I too now have 4 bait casters(left handed. Pound test goes between 10 and 12 pound test. I find all your tips(whichever applies to me)very informative and educational. Yup, spinning reels are almost a thing of the past. I’ve also learned that with a bait casting reel, lure weight should be 1/2 oz. or better. Unfortunately, I learned all this before your video came out in my mail, but I keep it all in mind. Thanks very much for all your help and good fishing right back at ya’.
