Hello folks, this week we’re back in the freshwaters, anchored as we fish for those wonderful channel catfish using cut bait (common shiners).
If the video doesn’t load, you can view it here: How to Catch Channel Catfish using Cut Bait
We bait up using a sliding sinker rig, a T-Turn, and a double-hook set up. The double hooks allow us to add double bait. But not just to double the changes of hooking a catfish, but to allow for a larger scent pool for the channel catfish to lock onto.
We manage to hook into a lot of great channel catfish. It was a great day on the water.
As always, good luck and good fishin’!
