Trolling Tips for Bluefish in Shallow Channels

We’re fishing in a shallow channel today which is only about 10-15 feet deep, and trolling at about 4 mph - as bluefish like a faster troll. Unlike freshwater walleye which tend to work best with a trolling speed of around 2 mph.

We’ll be flat-lining today, as the water is shallow enough that the bluefish will come up a bit to hit that bait.

Until next time, good luck and good fishin’!
