Fishing Q&A - Answers about Fishing Line: Clarity, Twists, and Knots

Welcome to today’s special episode of Thundermist Fishing Tips. We have a lot of really great subscribers, and we get all kinds of great questions. I’d like to take some time today to take a closer look at a few of those subscribers and the great questions they are asking.

Today we have three questions I’d like to answer and talk about. The first question is about fishing line, the second about fishing line and your reel, and the third is about the tying two fishing lines together.

Question 1: In terms of fishing line clarity and strength, what is better? 100% fluorocarbon fishing line, or fluorocarbon coated fishing line?

Question 2: My spool of fishing line is coming off of the reel at the time of opening the bail. What do I do to prevent this?

Question 3: What knot was used when you connected the braid and thunder carbon fishing line together?

Thank you again to all our great subscribers. Feel free to leave your questions below, and myself and Antonio, the boatless angler will be selecting some questions for the next episode of fishing Q&A.
