A Fast, Easy And Simply Delicious Fish Recipe

I created this fishing recipe myself a few years ago while on a fishing trip to Rice Lake in Southern Ontario. I happened to be cooking Walleye at that time and it was a huge success, all the guys loved it. Since then, I have used this recipe for many different kinds of both fresh water and salt water fish with the same outstanding results.

This fish recipe uses simple ingredients, is easy to prepare & tastes amazing. Further, because it’s not fried, it’s also healthy and only takes minutes to prepare!

• Put fine bread crumbs in a bag (use enough bread crumbs to be able to coat your fish)
• Add your fish fillets to the bag & shake until fillets are well coated
• Place some slivers of butter on a baking sheet & place fillet on top
• Sprinkle paprika, salt & pepper (to taste) on your fillets
• Place some slivers of butter on top of your fillets
• Broil on high, for 10 – 12 minutes, for fillets around 1 – 1 ½ inches thick
• Enjoy!

If you need an accompaniment to this meal, serve with rice. Rice can take up to 20 minutes to cook & while the rice is cooking, you easily have time to prepare your fish. In less than a half hour, you can prepare and serve a healthy, delicious meal. I recommend using premium par-boiled long grain rice (unlike my nephew, Corrado, who would prefer Jasmine rice).

PS: although this is a fantastic recipe, don’t be afraid to try some variations with your bread crumbs; for example you can use seasoned bread crumbs, corn meal, or even crushed cereal flakes – be creative if you want, otherwise this recipe will serve you well for many years.

Bon appetite.
